A series of solo exhibitions organized by sculptor Yuki Murata will be held at Nishida Museum of Art, Toyama Glass Art Museum, and Gallery Muryow.
Yuki Murata (1991-) has a style that deepens insights into methods and codes peculiar to wood sculpture from a unique perspective, and connects and reconstructs various memes such as religion, technology, art history, and the Internet. He is an up-and-coming sculptor who has earned a reputation for winning numerous awards during college, and has vigorously published works both in Japan and overseas.
Murata focused on Scribe (Skreybh) as a concept adjacent to Sculpture (Skelh), a trilogy based on the derivatives "Inscribe", "Describe", "Circumscribe" Will be developed in the three spaces in Toyama where he is from.
